The easiest way to explain a shower steamer is to compare it to another popular self-care implement: the bath bomb. Bath bombs are basically bundles of skin-healthy ingredients and aromatherapeutic scents (and often fun, colorful glitter) that can be dropped into your bath. Once submerged, bath bombs dissolve and infuse all of their goodness into the water.

 

While shower steamers may sometimes have ingredients that are meant to be good for you physically, unlike bath bombs, you’re not going to be soaking in them. So their main benefit is in the aromatherapy that they provide.

 

My shower steamers are free from clay products and are made of ingredients such as sodium biocarbonate & citric acid that actually help clean the drain!!

 

Shower steamers are infused with a essential oil. The steam fom the shower helps disperse aroma, allowing you to enjoy the therapeutic effects of the essential oils.

Can you use shower steamers as a bath bomb?

We don't recommend using shower steamers as bath bombs. Our steamers contain levels of essential oils which are made to be released in steam over time, not when fully submerged.

Will the steamer damage my shower floor?

All ingredients used are water soluble and do not stain the shower surfaces unless left to sit for many weeks. My shower steamers are designed to dissolve cleanly and any residue can be rinsed off easily at the end of every shower
